Each recipe has been delicately developed and tested in order to provide only the best our baking hands have to offer. We promise that every single bite will be an experience - filled with contentment; finished with a smile (or another cupcake).
Though we are presently only a small, in-home bakery , we have dreams and aspirations of becoming so much more. As we continue to serve you, our patrons who help us grow every single day, we are so graciously thankful to be able to be a part of so many special moment’s, celebrations, and closest memories.

About Michelle
It was that itch I just couldn’t seem to scratch. As I pursued my full-time career as an Interior Designer something felt incomplete. Maybe it was my ever-growing passion for food and the science behind it. I decided to go back to school for a degree in Food Science (R&D).
Upon finishing my 2nd round of higher education there was still an absence of something my heart was longing for. So, with every ounce of free time, I spilled open my Mom’s famous hand-me-down file of cake recipes and started baking. The rest is history..
OUr STORY
Today, The Cupcake Company fulfills our entrepreneurial spirits. Though it’s still a part-time gig for us, our growth and success continue to fuel our flame - it truly is like having a dream job. The Cupcake Co. operates out of our petite-sized, early 1900’s, one room schoolhouse. No double-ovens here! Every cupcake is very patiently mixed, baked, and decorated.
Michelle takes care of recipe development, baking, and is most often the face of customer service. Josh handles all the behind-the-scene work (and trust us, there’s a lot of it!). In 2020 we added a ‘Baker in Training’ to our family business. Though today he only serves as a taste-tester, we know one day he’ll be running the kitchen (or running us!).
